Additional information;

Approx. 765 yards of right bank fishing, which has good access to the waterside. The main flow of water running down the right side is slow and big Carp are present in the margins, though they need to be stalked. Shoals of Perch and Chub can be found in most of this gentle glide as the water flows downstream. The deeper areas are to be found under the willow and alder trees, before the river narrows into Hopyard pool, the tail of which is deep, and ideal for barbel and chub, depending on the river level. Huntsmans Pool is at the end of the beat and is 200 yards of fast water, where once again depending on conditions, is ideal for Chub and Barbel when water is low and clear. Carp have also been seen lurking in the deep water at the end of this pool, and some of them well into double figures.
